Poston Incarceration Camp Lesson Plans
This unit includes four lessons developed for the Poston Community Alliance about the Poston Incarceration Camp, labeled as the Colorado River Relocation Center by the U.S. government, during World War II (1939-1945). These lessons examine Poston’s historical roots and how it evolved as a result of the relationship between the Japanese American and Native American communities.
